What has she done?

Hailing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I have gone from swimmer to aspiring author since graduating in 2014.

What will she do?

I am currently working on refining my first trilogy while writing a short mini-series entitled Dirty Blood.

I despise everything dealing with ketchup

It's horrible and disgusting. In middle school, I accidentally threw my retainer away while disposing my lunch. Realizing my mistake, I used all of my bravery to fish it out around the mountain of half-eaten french fries and, of course, ketchup. Gives me goosebumps thinking about it now!

I have two adorable cats, and they're the best

Both adopted from the Nebraska Humane society, Kirby (orange) and Baby Kitty (Torti) are the closest thing I have to children. Baby Kitty is obsessed with lazer toys, nugs, and snuggles while Kirby prefers a nice snooze on the window ledge.

Proudest Athletic Achievement: Biggest Splash

My freshman year of high school I worked as a lifeguard at my local swimming pool (as many swimmers have done). Our pool hosted a "competition" for everyone off our diving boards: Best Belly Flop, Best Trick, and my specialty, Biggest Splash. Against all odds (I had some well-fed competition), I won twice. I have the trophy to prove it.

I also was privileged to compete for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and qualified for the Olympic Trials in 2012. Despite these successes, no trophies were acquired during my time in Nebraska.
